In 2019, Rian Johnson released Knives Out and introduced the world to Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc, a "southern" private investigator that Rian was already hoping to start an anthology series around. In 2022, Glass Onion dropped as the second Benoit Blanc mystery, but it didn't make as big of a splash as the first entry. However after the release of 2025's Wake Up Dead Man, Rob's decided that we should revisit the series and close the loop on the Benoit Trilogy.
