This Week at Remap (Sorry!)

This morning, I will unpack my bags, then pack them again as I transition from several days in the Wisconsin Dells (extremely fun) with my kids, before spending several in Boston for PAX East (also extremely fun). As a reminder, we'll be at Westin's Birch Bar—the one in the hotel lobby connected to the Boston convention center—at 5pm on Saturday. If things go well, we'll also be streaming out of Rob's house as a group for the first time, and we'll flip that conversation into a podcast that you'll be able to listen to on Monday.

  • PODCAST: Resident Evil 9 Spoilercast – No, this does not mean the Silksong spoilercast is dead. We gave Janet a heads up on act three, and we'll mark her making progress in that and get a recording in the books shortly. I'd like to do more spoilercasts, but the stars need to align. I do think we'll probably do one for the next Life Is Strange game, and do a full series post mortem.
  • PODCAST: Worth Reading – Any chance to chat with my bud Keza MacDonald is a good one, and I do really recommend her new book. At first, I read enough to chat with her for the podcast, thinking I probably new everything the book had to offer, but there's plenty I was unaware of and loads of excellent anecdotes and observations from Keza that make it worthwhile.
  • PODCAST: Remap Radio – I wasn't there, because I was in the midst of traveling back from Wisconsin, but Chia, Rob, and Janet got together!
  • STREAM: Live from Rob's House – Again, this is the current plan. TBD.
  • ARTICLE: ??? – I'm going to try and finish an article today. We'll see. I can tell you I talked to someone Life Is Strange-related, who does VO for the series, and that I was mildly starstruck at having a normal conversation with them.
  • MEETUP: PAX East – Westin's Birch Bar, the one in the hotel lobby connected to the Boston convention center, at 5pm on Saturday.
