This Week at Remap

I have, thankfully, stopped waking up at 4am. I have also, regrettably, stopped waking up at 4am. It was nice to be a true morning person for a few weeks there, but it's also nice to not be falling asleep around 7pm and waking up before the sun is up. Goodbye, other version of Patrick! But sheesh, is it weird that I expressed utter relief at today's announcement that the very cool looking RPG Demonschool has been delayed several months until November? So many games...! I'm not sure the Silksong folks could have handled this any other way, but it's interesting to watch so much fall out from a single non-GTA game happening in real-time.

-pk, who is also relieved they cannot play Silksong early, honestly

  • PODCAST: Sports! – Every year, Rob and I hype ourselves into believing, like all good fans do, this could be the year team puts it together. The two hours we spent talking about the upcoming NFL season—and obviously, the Chicago Bears—was not that. We're becoming better, sadder, more realistic fans, baby! That podcast should be out pretty soon, btw.
  • STREAM: Steam Vent – I'll take a couple hops in Hopshot—no, I have not forgotten that damn game!!—before Chia and I head into Steam's underbelly.
  • STREAM: Patrick and Chia's Co-Op Corner – We're still figuring out what game to play, whether it's picking up Bred & Fred again, kicking the tires on We Are Here, Pico Park, or Escape Academy? Your suggestions are welcomed!
  • PODCAST: Remap Radio – Rob will be moving this week. With any luck, we'll have Rob back next week, but that also depends on how smooth the move goes, you know? But thankfully, Janet's back from Germany and has plenty to talk about. Plus, I can yammer on about Shinobi and Chronos: The New Dawn.
  • ARTICLE: ??? – I will write something that you'll read at the end of the week.
