It will be nice to have a normal week for a change. Maybe I'll start—and even finish—a video game? But now my wife has me wondering what could be around every corner. Thankfully, I do not think I have to worry about another surprise party anytime soon, though now it feels like the burden swings towards me when she turns 50. We'll see. Lord knows what the world will look like 10 years from now. To that end, keep your chin up. It's bad out there, but I'm glad you're here with us.
-pk, who dares to hope that he'll play enough Onimusha to eventually mean Jean Reno—yes, the actor—in the third game of the series

- PODCAST: Sports! – The moment I ran into Rob at my party, he immediately said "I'm staying for a few days and we are absolutely going to a Bulls game." In a haze, I told Rob that he needed to chill and I would let him know lol, as I tried to take in the dozens of people at this party. Of course, we went, and of course, Rob bought the most extravagant seats possible for such an occasion, one where the Bulls tied their biggest halftime deficit in team history. Special times.
- STREAM: Patrick vs. Onimusha – Upon seeing the latest Onimusha trailer, it dawned upon me that I have not played a single one of these games, despite the fact that they're well-regarded survival horror-ish games. Let's fix that, perhaps fixing all of it eventually, by starting out with the original game from 2001.
- STREAM: Civilization VII – Cado returns to an empire in development, but now with the addition of a trusted advisor, Rob. What wonders will follow?
- PODCAST: Remap Radio – Rob should be back for this one! I'll have hopefully finished the first half of Lost Records: Rage and Bloom by then.
- ARTICLE: Letter Series – Perhaps we can stop talking about me getting old.
