This Week at Remap

Patrick Klepek

A slightly off week for Remap up ahead for a couple of reasons. Cado is taking a few long planned days off, I'm tasked with helping my mother at some all-day doctor appointments towards the end of the week, and Rob is solo dog parenting, because MK is out of town. Content-wise, it's still a pretty normal week at Remap, but things are happening in slightly different orders to accommodate everyone's schedules. As much as I will miss the heat and swimming in pools, I am looking forward to fall arriving, if only because my life will take on a normal rhythm, such as my Sunday's being ruined by the Chicago Bears.

-pk, who also has to travel two more times in the next month!!!!

  • MONDAY: I've kicked off my Daily Dad Rock feature, where for the foreseeable future, I will log on every morning for 30 minutes to push a boulder up a hill, only to watch it come crashing down. Today's stream was great, and I'm excited to see how long it takes for us to see this through. Related, the summer got busy, but we will finish Dragon's Dogma 2, and my hope after that is to dig into the Elden Ring DLC. I've been saving it for you! And me. I'm also going to record an HOA episode with Rob that'll be released later because, without giving too much away, it's meant to be a multi-part series that'll we'll release when the issue at hand has some resolution. It'll make more sense later.
  • TUESDAY: More Daily Dad Rock. If I'm feeling up for it, some Nine Sols, a game that I'm in the endgame of, and I wish more people were talking about it. Cado, Rob, and I will also revisit our ongoing college dynasty, with a new format, where Cado makes the franchise decisions, I make the in-game coaching decisions, and Rob is tasked with executing the plays in real-time.
  • WEDNESDAY: Again, more boulder pushing, but note that feature will go on hiatus for a few days, because of personal obligations. It'll be back next Monday, but because of the weird schedule, we'll be recording Remap Radio early. I'm excited to talk about Thank Goodness You're Here on the pod.
  • THURSDAY: This might publish earlier, we'll see, but Rob and I are working on a letter series about our experiences with the early internet. This schedule format is also something we're going to change in the near future, too, because doing it by day doesn't always accurate reflect what we're getting up to.
  • FRIDAY: Remap Radio releases. There's a chance Rob flirts with a solo stream, but he still hasn't nailed down his internet issues entirely yet, and Cado and I will both be out of pocket. No guarantees there. Also, that stream I teased last week is in the works, but vacations related to the people I wanna stream with mean that it'll be kicked back a few weeks. I'm coming for you, Volgarr!

If you have any support issues, send details on the issue to support@remapradio.com.
