This Week at Remap

Patrick Klepek

The sign of a good vacation is when, towards the end, you're excited to go back home. My past week in South Carolina was filled with incredible family moments that I'll cherish for years, but the cycle of waking up and hanging out at the beach all day was starting to drain me. It'd become a new routine, and at last, I longed for my old routine. I do miss my family, though. I'm very lucky to have parts of my family where everyone has, over decades, remained close, even as new generations have entered the mix. We're trying to continue that tradition with our own kids. You can't guarantee they'll be friends, but you can toss them in the same room with one another and hope for the best. It worked out for us, anyway. But I've got lots of indie games piling up, boulders to rolls up hills, and nobody else is gonna do it.

Brief announcement: We're recording a sub-only mailbag tomorrow!!

The old mailbag is sticking around Remap Radio, and we're starting from square one with this, so everyone's got a shot here. If you'd like to submit a question, send it to questions@remapradio.com with the subject "SUBSCRIBER QUESTION" and it'll help us sort between them.

This will be for people at Foundation/Library tiers.

  • MONDAY: I started work on a Crow Country article I hope to share with you this week, and started laying the groundwork for a fun streaming idea for next week that might involve an old friend and a certain video game viking.
  • TUESDAY: As mentioned above, we're recording that subscriber-only mailbag in the afternoon. If you'd like to submit a question, send it to questions@remapradio.com with the subject "SUBSCRIBER QUESTION."
  • WEDNESDAY: The subscriber mailbag podcast will go out, and Rob and I will be spending some time streaming College Football 25 with one another. This is not a sentence I expected to type, and I do not know what to expect.
  • THURDSAY: We'll record Remap Radio, and I'm playing a lotta indie games.
  • FRIDAY: Remap Radio releases, while Rob and Cado check out F1 Manager 2024.

If you have any support issues, send details on the issue to support@remapradio.com.
