This Week at Remap

The speakers I have for my standup desk get, I don't know, crackly every once in a while. A fresh reboot of the computer tends to fix it, but instead, I decided "hey, what if I just flip Bluetooth on and off real quick?" Without realizing, of course, that my mouse and keyboard are both connected via Bluetooth. Which led to a very funny couple of minutes where I'm trying to figure out a way to rig up the keyboard via USB-c, so that I can slowly navigate to an app that'll enable Bluetooth again. I am typing this, however, so you can tell that I've succeeded at this difficult task. I'm so cool.

• Library-Tier Podcast (Monday, August 31): Pile of Shame — A little check-in with myself, Chia, and Janet about the games we've played so far this year, the games we want to keep playing this year, and the games we expect to be playing later this year. Figure we'll make this a more regular podcast—maybe four times a year—where we chat though our progress in gamesville.
• Stream (10 AM Monday, August 31): Lo-Fi Patrick Scrolling the News for August 31, 2026 — My goal is to hang with you for about an hour on every Monday morning, a chill way to kick off the week on what is otherwise a sleepy time for Remap. There's a world where we do streams like this with other people, but Monday is a day where I can usually carve out some solo time.

• Stream (2:30 PM Tuesday, September 1): Jump, Rank Repeat – Not sure what game we're going to be streaming as of this writing, but Janet and I will be co-oping through a different video game together before returning to Chained Together once Chia is back.
• Library-Tier Article (Wednesday, September 2): Remap Recommends – Been too long since we filed one of these!
• Article (Thursday, September 3): The Sinking City 2 Review – I absolutely do not need other games to play, but I have heard some people compare this game to The Evil Within 2 and my ears started to perk up.
• Podcast (Friday, September 4): Remap Radio – Chia is out, but Rob, Janet, and myself are still kicking around. Plus, I think Chia and Rob actually recorded a little bit that you'll hear in this episode, too. I'll have lots of thoughts about Onimusha: Way of the Sword. I've always been playing Orbitals!
