The best "welcome home" you can give your wife is to pick them up from the airport, stick them with your five-year-old in the back seat, and patiently wait for that child to throw up. I didn't exactly draw it up that way, but sometimes, those are the cards you have to play. Welcome home, baby! (That one is now nearly better, while my oldest came stumbling home yesterday and immediately face planted into a nap. No nine-year-old wants to take a nap. It's always a very bad sign.)

- My developer interviews and features have happened at a weekly cadence for the past month, but I ran into a scheduling snag, where everyone I was reaching out to was busy. Bummed but have some cool ones coming soon. Plus, it was really about getting into the swing of things. I wanted to make this kind of writing and reporting a more regular part of my contribution to Remap again, and managed to make that happen. Between that and Worth Reading and planning a platformer ranking podcast with Ja—oh, wait, shhh.
